Good questions
Let’s clear things up.
Everything you need to know about your spot, your moment, and the good it can do.
The basics
What is Spotdrop?
Spotdrop is a rotating brand directory. Brands get equal time in the spotlight, and visitors can discover them by category. There are no bids or paid rankings.
How much does a spot cost?
A spot costs $25 as a one-time payment. $5 from that amount goes to charity. All prices and fundraising amounts are in US dollars.
How many spots are in a category?
Each of the 28 categories is limited to 100 spots. Choose the category that best describes your brand.
Can I purchase a spot now?
Purchasing is not available on this preview site yet. You can explore the categories and see how your brand could appear.
Getting seen
How does the rotation work?
The spotlight and category rows update together every 60 seconds. Brands take turns, and the categories change order to keep discovery fresh.
Can I pay for a better position?
No. The idea is equal time for every brand, with no bidding and no paid rankings.
What appears on a brand listing?
A brand listing includes its name, icon, short description, and a link to its website. Category pages give visitors more room to explore each brand.
Are these brands already Spotdrop members?
The current listings are real brands used to demonstrate the directory. Their appearance does not imply a paid Spotdrop membership or endorsement.
Making an impact
How much goes to charity?
$5 from each $25 spot is allocated to charity — 20% of the spot price. Our first fundraising goal is $10,000 for NGOs.
Is the $50 tracker a confirmed donation total?
The $50 amount is a preview of the fundraising tracker, not a confirmed total. Verified fundraising and donation updates will be published on the Impact page.
Which NGOs will receive donations?
Recipient NGOs have not been announced yet. The causes we aim to support include climate, education, mental health, animals, clean water, and human rights.
